About Fire Response

Corolla Fire & Rescue [CFR] has a well trained fire services membership both paid and volunteer which provides fire prevention, fire investigation and firefighting services to the residents and visitors of Currituck County Outer Banks, NC. CFR [Station 6] operates out of two locations: Whalehead Station, 827 Whalehead Drive, and the Pine Island Station, 470 Ocean Trail (Rte. 12). We also have several ‘Mutual Aid’ agreements with neighboring communities.
